In today's busy world we are increasingly hearing more about maintaining a balance in our lives
No matter what our age group or life situation, one of the greatest challenges is making decisions and establishing priorities regarding how much time and effort we spend on work, study, recreation, family. friends and spiritual activities - everything!
How do we find balance?
John Ortberg in ‘The Life You've Always Wanted' says we often compartmentalize ours lives, depicting them as a pie chart divided into slices representing aspects like Financial, Intellectual ,Spiritual, etc. This encourages us to think of matters such as finances or work as non-spiritual activities, whereas God is part of everything we do.
Our lives become increasingly balanced as we learn to take every moment as an opportunity to think and act in Jesus' name.
