A refuge in troubled times
In Psalm 86: 18 Asaph wrote, “Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD— that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.”
The world is still going through troubled times with the COVID-19 pandemic. There is uncertainty and despair. People are experiencing grief and loneliness.
With God’s help we will get through this. He has a plan for the earth and although mankind has failed in so many ways, He has promised us a better future.
He has not promised to take away the trials and sad things that happen but He has promised to help us get through them.
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9(NIV)
God is our place of safety. He gives us strength.He is always there to help us in times of trouble.Psalm 46:1 (NIRV)
So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! Heb 10:35 (NLT)
