Why would you want to be a Christian?
Part 5
In a world which is being torn about by wars, political chaos and concern about climate change, many people hold fears for the future.
As Christians, our outlook for the future is different. We know that God has a plan (see “God’s Master Plan” on our Resources page) and we know the promises He has made. We place our hope and trust in Him.
The following are comments from committed Christians concerning their hope for the future:
“In the Christ part of ‘Christian’ I have total assurance of life eternal in the Kingdom that is to come on Earth.
This assurance I have being totally committed to the Father and His son and by baptism into the saving name of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Why a Christian you ask? My answer is:
To serve in the confidence of faith, in the fullness of life's trials provided and in the belief there is a future for those chosen. As such I will love the one and only God, and serve our Heavenly Father through his blessed Son the Lord Jesus Christ.

I believe that He sent His son, Jesus Christ, to tell us all about the Kingdom He has planned, and I look forward to being part of that Kingdom when He sends Jesus back to this earth.

God is loving, kind, merciful, righteous and true. He brings hope to the world and a better future without sickness or pain. No more killings, oppressions or evil. We can live with the animals and be unharmed. We can live in peace and worship God who gives all this freely to us if we endeavour to obey Him and His ways. Ways that I would wish the whole world to live by: peace, love, working together for the good of all equally. No greed, no war, no hunger, no violence, homes for all. I don't know why anyone wouldn't want these things. Christ to rule in righteousness and truth. No more corrupt ruling. Amen come Lord Jesus Come.
